Karen has an
extensive background in folk dances of Europe,
Asia, the Americas and Polynesia. She has eight years of experience as a
performance director for folk dance groups. She has performed with
Gainesville, Florida's internationally known professional ballet company,
DanceAlive!, and has choreographed folk dance pieces for their production of
Dracula. She has studied and performed Middle Eastern dance since 1976.

Tania has been study dance all her life. She was
the director of the University of Florida Greek American Student
Association Dancers for two years, and has been performing with Middle
Eastern dance troupes since 1992.

Clare (Alia) is a student at the
University of Florida (Gainesville, Florida, USA). She came to
Middle Eastern dancing from a background of jazz, ballet, and
gymnastics. She has been performing with Middle Eastern dance troupes since 1992.

Sara (Melike) is a Physical Therapist. In addition to
Middle Eastern dance Sara has a background in ballet and African dance. She has
been studying and performing Middle Eastern dance since 1991.

Carolyn (Karolyne) has a degree in microbiology. She has been studying, performing
and teaching Middle Eastern dance since 1990.
